Privacy Policy

Globe Command is operated by Cobra Digital Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company. The short version: we keep what we need to run your account and billing, and nothing else. No analytics, no ad trackers, and your location and camera never leave your device.
1. What we collect
- Account details. The email address and passcode you enter when you enlist. Passcodes are stored only in hashed form by Firebase Authentication; we never see them in plain text.
- Account status. Your clearance level, plan, add-ons, when your account was created and when you last signed in, and an enlist or promo code if you used one.
- Billing records. If you subscribe, Stripe gives us a customer ID and your subscription status, which we link to your account. Your card number and other payment details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records technical details of requests to our servers, such as IP address, browser type, the page or data requested and the time. We use these only to run, secure and fix the service.
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recorders or cross-site trackers.
2. What stays on your device
- Your location. COBRA HQ, near-me views, LOOK UP TONIGHT, sky mode and the radiation CHECK MY AREA tool use your device's location or motion sensors only inside your browser, and only after you allow it. Your location is not sent to our servers.
- Your camera. HAND CONTROL processes your webcam image on your own computer to read hand gestures. The video is never uploaded or stored, and the camera starts only when you turn hand control on.
- Your setup. Saved views, your watchlist, alert areas, your HQ, layer choices and display settings are saved in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.
3. How we use information
- to create and secure your account and sign you in;
- to unlock the clearance, plan and add-ons you have, and to run the free trial;
- to process subscriptions, plan changes and cancellations through Stripe, and to prevent fraud;
- to send the account emails described below;
- to respond to your requests and to legal notices;
- to enforce our Terms of Service, protect the service and comply with the law, including tax and accounting rules.
4. Emails
We send only account emails: confirming your email address, resetting your passcode, and notices about your account or these policies. Stripe sends payment receipts and billing notices on our behalf. We do not send marketing email today. If we ever do, every message will include a way to opt out.
5. Service providers
We use these companies to run the service. They process information for us under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud for sign-in, website hosting, server functions and server logs;
- Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, the billing portal and receipts, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link.
6. Content your browser loads from others
Much of what you see comes straight from third parties. When the globe plays a public camera stream or video, shows map imagery, loads a web font, or fetches certain live data feeds, your browser connects directly to that provider, for example a city traffic camera server, YouTube, Esri or Google Fonts. Those providers receive your IP address and standard browser information under their own privacy policies, and some, such as YouTube, may set their own cookies. Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles are fetched through our own server rather than directly by your browser.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use one session cookie to keep you signed in to our billing and data functions, and browser local storage for your sign-in session and the on-device settings listed in Section 2. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Third-party embeds may set their own cookies, as described in Section 6.
8. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the service providers in Section 5 so they can run the service for us, when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
9. Retention
We keep your account information while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove it within 30 days. Billing and tax records held by us or Stripe may be kept for up to 7 years where the law requires it. Server logs are kept for the limited period set by our hosting provider.
10. Security
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS, passcodes are hashed, and payment details are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, though. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to give you a copy, or to delete your account. You can reset your passcode yourself from the login screen and cancel your subscription from MANAGE BILLING. For anything else, email us from the address on your account and we will respond within 30 days.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
12. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
13. Where data is processed
The service is run from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States by us and our providers.
14. Do Not Track
There is no common standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, so we do not respond to them. We do not track you across other sites either way.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "last updated" date and, for significant changes, give additional notice such as an email.
